treatment for the hair and skin and it has some natural sunscreen
properties. |

rich in vitamins A, B1, B2, Pathogenic acid, vitamin D, E, protein,
lecithin and fatty acids. It's a very good nutrient for dry skin and
eczema. Avocado oil is said to have healing and regenerating qualities.
|
| Beeswax |
| A highly fragrant natural
animal wax from the honeycomb of the honeybee. It has a slight pleasant
honey scent; valued in cosmetics for emulsifying creams and ointments.
It also helps lock in moisture. |
| Buttermilk |
| Soothing and moisturizing to
the skin. |
| Cocoa Butter |
| Comes from the crushed seeds
of the cocoa tree and is separated during the process of making cocoa.
Great for softening and conditioning the skin. It has a beautiful aroma
of dark chocolate. |
| Dead Sea Salts |
| Dead Sea salts are
mineral-rich and contain high proportions of Potassium, Magnesium and
Bromide. Potassium helps regulate the moisture level of the skin,
Magnesium helps promote healing, and Bromide has a smoothing and
relaxing effect. Dead Sea salt exfoliates and revitalizes the skin and
helps draw out toxins. Sea salt is well known for its ability to
relieve aches and pains, reduce stiffness after exertion, relax the
muscles and relieve skin problems such as acne, eczema and psoriasis. |
| Epsom Salt |
| Great for bath salts, best
used in soaks for sore muscles. |
| Goat's Milk |
| Known for it's ability to
soothe sensitive, dry skin. |
| Glycerin |
| Natural humectant which draws
moisture to the skin. It is both mild and gentle to the skin, therefore
perfect for those with dry and sensitive skin. Glycerin works with your
skin to retain it's natural moisture. It cleanses without stripping or
upsetting the natural ph balance. |
| Honey |
| Excellent emollient. It
contains a germ killing substance called inhibine that helps prevent
infection. It helps to disinfect and soothe minor skin irritations and
dryness. Honey is said to be a natural anti-septic due to its tendency
to absorb the life-sustaining moisture out of bacterial cell walls. As
such, it is useful to include in healing salves and to use as a natural
wound cover. Honey attracts the dirt from skin pores and dead skin
cells from the surface of the skin. It, therefore, is said to be a
natural skin cleanser and softener. |
| Jojoba oil |
| Renowned for it's absorption
and moisturizing abilities. Highly penetrating oil, closely resembles
our sebum. It can control excess sebum production, thereby helping with
oily skin and acne. |
| Lavender essential oil |
| Can be used to relax and
relieve stress, relieve headaches, reduce high blood pressure and heal
burns and wounds. A gentle antiseptic good for all skin types because
of it's healing and regenerative properties. |
| Mango Butter |
| Obtained from the kernels of
the mango tree. It has good emolliency and lends a protective effect
against the sun. It is said to prevent drying of the skin and formation
of wrinkles. It reduces degeneration of skin cells and restores
flexibility. |
| Meadowfoam Seed oil |
| Said to moisturize the skin
and hair better than most oils and help prevent moisture loss. |
| Oatmeal |
| Gently soothes sensitive or
irritated skin and is beneficial to most skin types. |
| Peppermint essential oil |
| Multiple uses- loved in pick
me up remedies; especially nice in foot balms or lotion to soothe
tired, aching feet and to treat athletes foot or fungal problems. |
| Sea Kelp |
| Algae Seaweed. High in
vitamins A, B2, B3, C, D, E. All-natural cosmetic additive. Thought to
be world's most complete and natural skin care ingredient, containing
an extraordinary array of minerals & vitamins. |

care because it helps draw toxins out from the skin and helps soothe
sore muscles. |
| Shea Butter |
| African healers have used Shea
Butter for thousands of years as the ideal treatment for dry and aging
skin. It's high content of fatty acids gives it the ability to
moisturize and retain the elasticity of the skin. Shea Butter also
protects the skin against the damaging effects of the sun while
repairing cellular degeneration. |
| Tea Tree essential oil |

anti-fungal, anti-viral, anti-bacterial oil in aromatherapy. Popular
addition to skin care formulations for it's germ-killing properties.
